Joining

Let contact widen without leaving yourself behind.

Joining carries the direction established by Transition into a movement toward contact beyond your own immediate position.

If you arrived through Transition, you do not need to repeat the Glyph or recreate what you noticed there. Begin with whatever outward orientation is available now.

If you entered Joining directly, notice your own position first—the room around you, your body where it is, or one stable point of contact. From there, allow awareness to include something beyond yourself.

Movement Cue

Let Contact Widen Without Reaching

Begin with your own position.

Let attention include another person, the surrounding environment, a responsibility, a community, or something you care about beyond yourself.

You do not need to move closer, become more open, or make yourself available.

Let contact be only as wide as your capacity allows.

Remain only while this feels simple and supportable.

If outward contact feels difficult, remain with your own presence and the surrounding room. Distance can remain part of the movement.

What Joining Is Carrying

Joining does not ask you to dissolve a boundary.

It allows awareness to widen while your own position remains available.

Contact may feel connected, distant, warm, neutral, uncertain, or absent.

Choosing distance, maintaining a boundary, or noticing only your own presence can also be a complete encounter.

Stay With What Is Supportable

There is nothing you need to offer.

If contact remains uncomplicated, let it stay at the distance that feels appropriate.

If you begin reaching, overextending, losing your own position, or feeling pressure to contribute, return attention to your own centre and the room around you.

You may soften the movement, choose distance, or finish.

Joining may already be enough.

Paired Route

An Available Continuation

Joining may continue into Service to the World. Heart Bow can offer optional bodily support, but it is not required to enter the Drawer.

Transition Joining optional Heart Bow Service to the World

Service does not require self-abandonment. Contribution can remain ordinary, bounded, and responsive to actual capacity.

You may also end with Joining. Nothing requires you to make yourself more available.

End Here—or Continue

Return attention to your own position and notice the room around you.

You may finish here, return to the Ritual Pathways, or continue into Service to the World.

Nothing more is required here.
