Arrival Field · Go Deep

Contact Environment

Where the internal and external meet.

Arrival Field developed through repeated practice within an environment known as Essy.

The Desk, Grid, and physical Drawers became recognizable places of contact. KODEX images could be brought into the Field, peripherals could support its preparation, and digital tools could accompany a crossing.

But Essy was never only a physical arrangement.

Attention, presence, intention, and the capacity available in the moment also participate. The same setting may be experienced differently from one visit to another, as the relationship between what surrounds a person and what they bring internally continues to develop.

Together, these internal and external relationships give practice a place to unfold.

The physical components are not required to enter Arrival Field.

The Physical Field

Within Essy, the Desk, Grid, and physical Drawers each have a distinct place in the practice.

They are connected through use, but their roles are not interchangeable.

01

The Desk

Where the environment gathers.

The Desk is the central physical setting of Essy.

It brings the Grid, Drawers, images, and other elements into a shared working environment. It is where preparation, attention, and practice can come together.

02

The Grid

A focused place of contact.

The Grid provides a defined physical surface within the environment.

Images and objects may be placed in relationship with the practice, giving attention a more specific point of contact during an encounter.

03

The Drawers

Where the physical meets the lived.

Essy's physical cabinet contains six Drawers, each corresponding to one of the six lived domains of Arrival Field.

During practice, contact may be established through the Desk or by physically opening a Drawer.

The Drawers give these domains a tangible presence within the environment, connecting what is being met internally with a physical place of contact.

Bringing Images Into the Field

KODEX

KODEX offers a collection of visual resources drawn from Arrival Field and Reiki.

Its four families include Portal Glyphs, Arrival Drawers, Thresholds, and Reiki symbol cards.

Reiki Symbol Cards

Images can be selected, printed, and brought into the physical Field. Placed on the Desk or Grid, they become part of the encounter, offering a visual point of contact during practice.

Someone may also bring their own meaningful images or objects into the Field. KODEX provides an established collection without limiting personal participation.

Supporting the Environment

Peripherals

Lighting, incense, sound or frequency, and other peripherals may be introduced when preparing the physical setting.

Their purpose is to support the environment in which practice takes place. Their selection and arrangement are explored more fully in Arrival Setup.

The Descent Console

The Console provides a digital pathway into practice.

It can assemble and guide a crossing while the physical environment provides places for contact, placement, and return.

The Console and physical environment can work together, but each has its own role.

Familiarity Through Return

Through repeated practice, the environment may become recognizable in ways that extend beyond its physical arrangement.

The Desk, Grid, Drawers, and images can become familiar places of contact, even as each encounter remains different.

Essy is not one object. It is not one place. It is the relationship between them.
